She continued to act into her high school years as a student at Brooke Point High School where she was head of several clubs, such as the Honor Thespians group. When she was 16, she was awarded the title of Overall Actor at the Actors Models Talent for Christ contest. When she graduated in 1998 with her high school diploma She was given an academic scholarship that allowed her to attend Marymount Manhattan College. When she was 19, she decided to leave school and pursue an acting career full time and based in Los Angeles.
