Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen hails from St. Louis Missouri and is a American model, singer songwriter and actress. She is best known for her character Jenny Humphrey on the CW show Gossip Girl and as the lead singer of rock band The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's song has appeared in the film and television series, including How to Be a Single and Going the Mile. The younger sister of Taylor Momsen Sloane Momsen also works as an actor. She was a dancer at the Center of Creative Arts St. Louis. Three years ago, she began her acting career professionally with a Shake 'n Bake commercial. Momsen had a career pause for more than three years prior to being selected as the main character in Misconceptions which is a WB television show. Momsen played a role in Saving Shiloh 2006 during this period. Additionally, she auditioned to be the lead character for Hannah Montana. She was one of the top three however, Miley was given the part.
