Sara Ramirez is a popular Mexican-American actor, singer and writer. Her mom raised her in the USA, where she faced several racial stereotypes, which caused her to feel as a non-person. She began to gain confidence at the age of nineteen when she entered a school audition. She received a lot of praise for her singing. The event not only helped to boost her confidence, but also changed the direction she was heading in her the future. In 1992 she graduated with her master's degree from the city's Julliard School. Her professional career began at the age of 23 in Paul Simon's The Capeman on Broadway and The You've Got Mail film. But her biggest break came when she played the role in the role of The Lady of The Lake in the very first Broadway performance of Spamalot winning not just the Tony Award for her performance but also great critical acclaim. In the following year, when she was Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy for ABC her role was given greater fame. Apart from being a popular singer, she released a solo as well as an extended version.
